After apparently failing to properly rehang a clock on the wall and watching it fall and crumble to pieces, I have deliberated what to put in its place. In the meantime, I have been looking at a blank wall. With Halloween rapidly approaching, I decided on some simple Halloween wall art to buy me some more decision-making time. So off I went to Photoshop to see what I could come up with.
Here’s how it turned out:
Here’s how I made it:
On Photoshop Elements, I first created an 8 x 10 image and colored it orange then pasted on the facial features from the clip images to make the Jack-O-Lantern. I did the same thing for the Ghost and Frankenstein wall art; but changed the colors. The BOO art was super easy and could be made on a program like Word. I then printed the art out onto card stock and hung them in black frames I found at the Dollar Store. I also used 3M hooks I had at home. The whole project was $4.00 plus tax.
Making wall art doesn’t have to be difficult, time-consuming, or expensive. I hope this project provides a little Halloween inspiration.
I would love to hear about any wall art you have made!
